Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, is a modern, bustling metropolis with a population of over 10 million people nestled in the mountainous northwestern region of South Korea. Seoul is headquarters to large international corporations such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai and Kia. Notable attractions include Gyeongbokgung Palace, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Buddhist temples, and numerous shopping districts and markets. “Yonsei University is one of the best universities in Korea and they offer dozens of courses in English, which made it easy to find classes in my major. Additionally, Seoul is one of the most dynamic cities in the world. If you're looking for an adventure then studying at Yonsei is the right choice. I've learned so much about being confident and sensitive in a culture that I'm only beginning to understand."
-Jeffrey Walker, Yonsei International Summer School, 2013
